I once described myself as a '!!!' plus emoticons sort of girl. Maybe that's accurate, maybe that's not. But either way, I'm one of those sad wallflowers who explodes into a three times more expressive personality once in the presence of the internet. Or at least; that's my opinion of the matter.
Oh; I'm also the oldest of four children. I have two younger sisters and a younger brother. My sisters and I tend to show up in the same places and eljay is no exception. You wanna think that all three of us are the same person? Well then, I'm going to think you're an idiot.

So, a while back ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) kidalanna came up with a writing exercise based on something she did in school. A while back, I read this exercise and now am deciding to modify and share it.
Step One; Choose a gender.
Step Two; Go here and get a random first name.
Step Three; Go to your local Apples to Apples game and grab five red cards and three green. If you don't have Apples to Apples kidalana can grab some words for you, or you can turn to someone and get three adjectives and five nouns. It must be very random, no matter how you do it, keep it random.
Step Four; Make a character based off of steps one through three. The green cards/adjectives will be for the character's personality and the red/nouns will be used as objects in their history, as well as you can manage.
Step Five; Post and be amused?
Bonus Round; Make a plot for a story featuring this newly created character as the main.

I like to stay up late. I'm not too fond of mornings. And my schedule kind of does fit what I like, I have all my classes start at 0910. :D Only... I have physical therapy at 0700 on two out of five days, but I'd say it's a pretty sweet deal.

So I stumbled across this and the official site here.
Now to me it sounds like an elaborate joke... renaming 'fish' to 'sea kittens', honestly where does that come from? Aren't they fine as is? Renaming fish to something that people like the name of isn't going to work, because people; they like fish because of how they look amirite? And this is all ignoring how amazing the word fish is, especially if said correct. Not to forget ghoti in the list of amazing fish pronunciations too.
Now I think this Ashley Byrne gets points for being in charge of the 'sea kitten' campaign but always referring to them as fish.
But you should check out the site, if just for laughs. You can adopt and dress up your own fish and even read some fish themed bed time stories, which are not very uplifting but kind of horrific. (A fish who wants revenge on a 'land kitten', is nightmare material folks) I even adopted my own little fish pal, have three in a tank and played with them in lab all day. One more shouldn't be too bad. :D
Needless to say; I'm not calling my gold fish gold sea kittens any time soon. D: What happens when people feed their fish cat food though? "It's called a 'sea kitten' that means it eats the same things as 'land kittens' right?"

I must admit to looking at some BJDs again. I'm not too happy about what some are made of so I've been looking at other companies. Currently LeekE is my favorite. But there's no way I'd ever be able to get one.

You know I wrote a report on something to that tune? I sighted how all sorts of random technologies that we have hail from that programme. But in general all of the SciFi genre contributed to all sorts of technologies.

I really really love Kaito (& Miku's) Cantarella... Especially that opening. I really wish there was a string group arrangement for it... D: Kaito sounds rather good in this song but I kind of wish I could hear just the instruments, because between Kaito & Miku's soft singing they're kind of making it hard to hear this one line of the song. :D

Okay, so you know the Republican convention?
How many arrests did they do in that span of time? I don't know the exact number but I've heard that it was over 200 & also 280. But either way. >.>
While you did have the occasional 'kick a smoke bomb at the police' kind of people you also had reporters who were arrested. I draw attention to Amy Goodman (Sharif Abdel Kouddous and Nicole Salazar were also arrested at the same time). The three are reporters. They report for 'Democracy Now' and they were charged with 'conspiracy to riot'. Um... lolwhut? D: I'm kind of nervous about what's going to happen after this.
I wish I could vote though. If they push fair tax again I'm going to get kind of mad. >.>

In other news; did you hear that the VP nominee for McCain has a seventeen year old girl who's five months pregnant? And this is from the woman who's heavy on abstinence education.
